Ingredients:
2 cans (about 14β15 oz total) salmon, drained and flaked
(You can remove skin and bones if you prefer)
1 large egg
Β½ cup breadcrumbs (or crushed crackers)
2 tablespoons chopped green onions or finely diced onion
1β2 tablespoons fresh parsley (optional but recommended)
1 teaspoon garlic powder (or 2 cloves fresh minced garlic)
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Β½ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
Β½ teaspoon black pepper
Β½ teaspoon paprika (optional for extra flavor)
3β4 tablespoons oil for frying

1οΈβ£ Prepare the salmon
Open the cans and drain well. Put the salmon in a bowl and flake it with a fork until itβs broken into small pieces.
2οΈβ£ Mix the ingredients
Add to the salmon:
Egg
Breadcrumbs
Onion
Garlic
Lemon juice
Salt, pepper, and paprika
Parsley (if using)
Mix everything well until it forms a soft mixture that holds together.

3οΈβ£ Shape the patties
Take about 2β3 tablespoons of mixture and shape into round flat patties using your hands.
You should get about 6β8 patties.
4οΈβ£ Fry the patties
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
Place the patties in the pan and cook for:

until golden brown and crispy.
Do not move them too much while cooking so they donβt break.
