¼ cup milk
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
For the glaze:

3 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon mustard
For the sandwich:
8 slices sandwich bread (white or whole wheat)
Lettuce leaves
Tomato slices
Extra ketchup or mayonnaise (optional)
Butter for toasting
Instructions:

1. Prepare the meat mixture:
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onion, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, milk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix gently until well combined (do not overmix).
2. Shape and bake:

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish or loaf pan.
3. Add glaze:
Mix ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard. Spread evenly over the meatloaf.
Bake for 50–60 minutes until fully cooked. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

4. Toast the bread:
Butter the bread slices lightly and toast them in a pan until golden and crispy.
5. Assemble the sandwich:
Place a thick slice of meatloaf on toasted bread. Add lettuce, tomato, and extra sauce if desired. Top with another slice of bread.
Tips:

For extra flavor, add cheese slices to the sandwich.
Leftover meatloaf works perfectly for this recipe.

You can pan-fry the meatloaf slices before assembling for a crispy edge.
