500 g (1 lb) ground beef
2 cups uncooked pasta (elbow, shells, or bowtie)
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups beef broth
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon tomato paste (optional)
1 teaspoon paprika
Β½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon butter or oil

Cook the beef:
Heat butter or oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces.
Add aromatics:

Add liquids & pasta:
Pour in beef broth, milk, and tomato paste. Stir well. Add pasta, salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.

Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 10β15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and sauce thickens.
Add cheese:
Turn off heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
Serve:
