Ingredients:
1 lb chicken breast, diced
1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
12 oz penne or rotini pasta
4 cups chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 packet ranch seasoning mix
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
Directions:
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add diced chicken and sausage, cooking until the chicken is browned (about 5-7 minutes). Add onion and garlic, cooking until softened (about 2-3 minutes).
Stir in chicken broth, heavy cream, ranch seasoning, and uncooked pasta. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, until pasta is cooked (about 10-12 minutes).
Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
