MELT IN YOUR MOUTH SHORTBREAD COOKIES

INGREDIENTS

  •  1 cup of softened butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar for sweets
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

DIRECTIONS:

Step 1: Heat the oven to 375 degrees F. (190 degrees C).

Step 2: Use an electric mixer to whip the butter until it gets fluffy.
Mix in the flour, cornstarch, and powdered sugar.
Beat on low for one minute, then on high for 3–4 minutes.
Spread the cookies out 2 inches apart on a cookie sheet that has not been greased.

Step 3: Bake in a hot oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
Make sure the edges don't get too brown.
Cool on racks with wires.
