A creamy and tasty sauce to go with your crispy fries.
Ingredients :
- 200 grams of grated cheddar
- 20 cl of thick sour cream
- 10 cl de lait
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 1 tablespoon of flour
- Salt and pepper (to your taste)
- 1 pinch of paprika (optional, for a spicy touch)
Directions:
1. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
2. Add flour and mix well to form a rug. Let cook for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
3. Gradually incorporate milk while whipping to avoid lumps. Let that thicken slightly.
4. Add the sour cream and mix until the texture is even.
5. Reduce to low heat and incorporate grated cheddar, one handful at a time, stirring until completely melted.
6. Season with salt, pepper and paprika if using. Mix it up well.
7. Serve immediately with hot fries or other snacks.
