Blueberry Lemon Sangria

A refreshing burst of citrus and berries in every sparkling sip!

Ingredients:

1 bottle (750 ml) white wine (Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio recommended)

1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)

1 lemon, thinly sliced

1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice

1/4 cup orange liqueur (Triple Sec or Cointreau)

2 cups sparkling water or lemon-lime soda

Ice cubes (as needed)

Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Directions:

Prepare the Fruit Base:
In a large pitcher, combine the blueberries, lemon slices, and freshly squeezed lemon juice.

Add the Wine and Liqueur:
Pour the white wine and orange liqueur over the fruit mixture. Stir gently to combine.

Chill the Sangria:
Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2–4 hours, or overnight, to let the flavors infuse.

Add Fizz Before Serving:
Just before serving, stir in the sparkling water or lemon-lime soda for a bubbly finish.

Serve Over Ice:
Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled sangria over the top. Make sure each glass gets a few pieces of fruit.

Garnish and Enjoy:
Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy the refreshing, fruity flavors!
