Materials (Per Balloon):

1 balloon (any color)
1 small plastic bottle (water bottle works well)
2–3 tablespoons baking soda
Β½ cup vinegar
Funnel or paper cone
Optional:

food coloring, glitter, or essential oils for sensory fun
Directions:

1. Prep the balloon:

Use a funnel to fill a balloon with 2–3 tablespoons of baking soda.
Set it aside carefully so the powder doesn’t spill.
2. Fill the bottle:

Pour Β½ cup of vinegar into the empty bottle.
Add food coloring to the vinegar for extra visual flair (optional).
3. Attach and lift:

Carefully stretch the balloon’s neck over the bottle’s opening without letting the baking soda fall in yet.
Once sealed, lift the balloon upright to let the baking soda drop into the vinegar.

4. Watch the magic!
The vinegar reacts with the baking soda to produce carbon dioxide gas, which inflates the balloon right before your eyes!

Must express something to keep getting my recipes…. Thank you!
